University of Kentucky tailback CoShik Williams
Atlanta, GA-- The Atlanta Wildcats of the National Gridiron League held a player tryout this past weekend in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Several athletes from across the southeast came for the opportunity to impress league and team personnel. League executive Andrico Hines was on hand to observe the afternoon's activities and even joined the coaches in providing valuable coaching instruction to the players in attendance.
The star of the weekend was former University of Kentucky tailback CoShik Williams. The former SEC star performed excellently in both the forty-yard dash and short shuttle drills. Williams carried his impressive showing throughout the day impressing coaches in one on one and team practice. As a collegiate player, Williams averaged over 4.3 yards per carry in college football's most difficult conference.
The tryout ended with three players earning contract offers from Wildcats. For the latest in news and information, please continue to visit nationalgridiron.com.
